March 21, 2018: Snow Day of Rest

An unexpected snow day at the beginning of Spring! I welcome it this week, especially after getting my wrist treated with cortisone the other day. Since my work days deal with a lot of lifting, the extra day of rest is welcomed.

I managed to work yesterday with minimal stress on my hand. I used the lifting technique the medical assistant shared with me at the orthopedist’s office (rely more on the left arm to lift), and that certainly helped my situation. I also applied ice on my wrist when I wasn’t with the children.

Today is more ice and resting my hand…also reading the new novel I received, ‘Not That I Could Tell’. It’s an interesting read…not quite riveting, but I’m curious to see what happens next with the characters.
