October 24, 2018: Book Progress and Pumpkins

I’m halfway done with ‘Daughters of the Lake’. The historical accounts of past generations is woven so well into the modern perspective of the story. I appreciate a good ghost story.

I brought in my second pumpkin for work this morning. The first pumpkin didn’t hold up very well. It was carved, and it began to change colors on the inside. So I painted it this time around, and kept it whole. I still loved how it turned out!

I’m still thinking about my plans for Halloween celebrating. This weekend calls for lots of rain, but hopefully it won’t be too horrendous for the evening.
