Last night, I had the opportunity to see a special Christmas event held in the Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. It was called Lessons and Carols: in Preparation for the Nativity of our Lord. This event consists of biblical passages being read that pertains to the moments leading up to the birth of Jesus. These passages were mingled with lovely carols sung by the Seminarians. It’s my second time attending the Lessons and Carols event, and I really enjoy the performance.
After the event, there was a dinner to celebrate the hard work the seminary put in throughout the semester. Andy and I sit with some of the seminarians during the dinner. It’s great talking to them for the duration, and find out where they are assigned during their time in the seminary. It’s also fun to meet with Andy’s co-workers and friends at his employment. Even though I only see them once a year, I appreciate meeting the people Andy encounters in his daily work life.
