Witchy YA/Blogtober Day 11

October is a times for all things spooky and witchy-related! Reading stories that involve witches are one of my favorite things to do arount this time of year.

Here’s some of my favorite Witchy YA reads:

Nightbird by Alice Hoffman
Nightbird is a Middle Grade story about a young girl named Twig, whose family tries to keep a family curse secret. Twig however sets out to solve the mystery of the mysterious curse, with the help of dear friends. There’s so many witchy elements in the tale!

Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
Hex Hall tells the story of Sophie Mercer, a half-witch placed into a paranormal school after recklessly using her powers. It carries all the social intricacies that high school is usually known for, with a magical twist!

Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin

Serpent and Dove brings together a witch and a witch hunter, bound to each other in marriage. I’m so intrigued by how this story (and love dynamic) unfolds!

These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling

I love a book with witches being involved in high-risk situations! Trying to have a romantic life while handling said ‘high-risk situations’ is even better!

What Witchy YA books do you enjoy reading? Feel free to share in the comments!

Note: I’m taking part in The Library Looter and Anniek’s Blogtober Challenge
