Hocus Pocus Book Tag

Today I wanted to try a tag with a Halloween inspired theme in mind! I discovered this tag through Romance Book Binge.

A Great Trilogy

I loved L.J. Smith’s The Secret Circle trilogy. One of my favorite book series that I read in high school!

Winnifred Sanderson
A book with a truly evil villain

Dolores Umbridge. She was quite a character!

Sarah Sanderson
A book that uncannily attracts children

A Series of Unfortunate Events was a big favorite of my cousins when they were younger!

Mary Sanderson
A book that is just plain silly

Any of the Peanuts character strips. They’re so fun to read!

Max
A book that is trying really hard to be cool, but doesn’t always succeed.

Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero. As much as a liked the premise, I wasn’t too thrilled overall.

Dani
A book that isn’t afraid to tell it like it is

Wasted by Marya Hornbacher. It’s an autobiographical account of a woman’s struggle with anorexia. It was such a powerful story!

Binx
A book series that just won’t die

The Twilight series. I never hear the end of these books!

Ice
A book with a character that’s dumb as a rock

Alina from the Grisha trilogy. She didn’t make a lot of smart choices!

The Black Flame Candle
A book or series you wish you could resurrect

I would have to say Poppy Z. Brite’s books. They were very good vampire tales!

Headless Billy Butcherson
A book not as bad as people make it out to be

Miss Peregrines’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I’m in love with that book!

Willifred Sanderson’s Spell Book
A book with a mind of its own

Our Kind of Cruelty by Araminta Hall. That book took so many crazy turns!

Garry Marshall
A book with a cameo

Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice. The Mayfair Witches & Lestat together!

That’s all for now!

  1. Ohhhh!! What a wonderful set of choices! I havenโ€™t heard of many of them but Iโ€™m loving your answers. Also, I was wondering what my answers would be and freaking out because I couldnโ€™t think of a few immediately ๐Ÿคฃ
