October Book Haul

I received 8 books during the month of October! Three were sent from publishers (2 physical ARCs, 1 eARC), and the rest I purchased from various excursions between my area and New York City.

Books from Publishers:

Deadly Deceit (Harbored Secrets #2) by Natalie Waters
We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry

I was so thrilled when I received these two books! Deadly Deceit is part of a blog tour I’m participating in, while We Ride Upon Sticks came to me after making a request to the publisher (Thank you so much to Pantheon/Penguin Random House for sending me this copy)! I’m looking forward to reading about this Historical Fiction book about this female hockey team touched by magic!

NetGalley ARC:

The Silvered Serpents by Roshani Chokshi

The Silvered Serpents is the anticipated sequel to The Gilded Wolves. I enjoyed reading the first installment greatly, so I was thrilled to receive an ARC from NetGalley! The Silvered Serpents comes out in February 2020!

Purchases:

The Dogs of Christmas by W. Bruce Cameron
A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

These two stories were purchased at Barnes & Noble. My husband and I enjoy books about dogs, so I can’t wait to read these books!

Not Her Daughter by Rea Frey

I picked up Not Her Daughter during a recent excursion to The Strand in New York City. I enjoy Rea Frey’s Instagram content, as she regularly documents her adventures as a writer and Home School parent.

OwlCrate:

I Hope You Get This Message by Farah Naz Rishi
Crier’s War by Nina Varela

I received these two books as part of the OwlCrate subscription service. It’s so thrilling to receive two stories this month!

Those are my new books for October! I can’t wait to explore them!
