New Year's Resolution Book Tag

I came across this book tag through Kristen Kraves Books. While I don’t keep up with New Year’s resolutions, I feel that bookish ones might be a bit easier to follow!

An author you’d like to read that you’ve never read:

Talia Hibbert. I picked up Get a Life, Chloe Brown a few months ago, and I can’t wait to read it!

A book you’d like to read

Girls of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan. I enjoyed the first installment of this series so much!

A classic you’d like to read:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I finally picked up this classic very recently!

A book you’d like to re-read

There are so many, but I think I would choose Shanghai Girls by Lisa See.

A book you’ve had for ages and want to read

The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. I downloaded this on my Kindle a couple years ago, but have yet to read it!

A big book you’d like to read

I can’t think of one offhand, but I’m sure one will come my way!

An author you’ve previously read and would like to read more of

I enjoyed Natasha Ngan’s stories, so I’m looking forward to reading more of her work!

A book you got for Christmas and would like to read

I received Go Set a Watchman during Christmas, so I can’t wait to read that one!

A series you want to read from start to finish

I loved reading Ransom Riggs’s first novel in the Miss Peregrine series, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series. The content is very enjoyable!

A series you want to finish that you’ve already started
Same as above!

Do you set reading goals? If so, how many books do you want to read in 2020?

I’ve set my Goosreads goal at reading 30 books this year. Hopefully I can surpass that number!
