Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo

I love books written in poetic verse. I also love stories that have Latinx origins. The fact that this story has both is a wonderful thing!

Love, Art, and Other Obstacles by Sadira Stone

I received a complimentary copy from the author. It’s a very steamy read so far! I like a story where I can escape from these crazy times for a while.

Until I Find You by Rea Frey

I really loved this thriller centering around a mother doing whatever it takes to find her son!

A Woman’s Place: Inside the Fight for a Feminist Future by Kylie Cheung

This is a well researched non-fiction account of Feminism’s current Fourth Wave. The fight for women gaining an equal foothold in America continues!

The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes

This is my library’s book club choice for May. I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s about!

What books did you read this past week? Feel free to share!
