When Silver Met Gold: Book Information
After graduating from college, Musca Stuart discovers that the biological mother she had thought to be long dead only recently passed away while living in Pakistan. If she had known this when her mother was still alive, it wouldn’t have been so heartbreaking for her.
Angry and sorrowful, she flies to her maternal homeland and meets her mother’s cousin, Uncle Mubashir, who, as a guardian, admits her into the University of Pakistan so she can complete her education and live in peace. All it takes is one moment in a speech competition for her to notice the enigmatic golden-eyed Aaliyan Haider, who carries secrets that tie them both together in ways she could never have imagined.

**I received a copy of When Silver Met Gold from the author, in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own**.
When Silver Met Gold is a lovely romance novel that brings together two people learning about one another. Musca travels to her late mother’s homeland in order to learn about her life. While there, she develops a strong attraction to Aaliyan, and deals with her fiery emotions with him!
I loved reading about Musca’s journey as she educates herself about her mother’s culture. Her Uncle Mubashir is a useful guide in Musca’s learning. It was a welcoming experience for me as well! I enjoy reading about different customs used throughout the world. Since Musca grew up in North America, I can imagine that there are strong differences in Pakistani traditions. Both Musca and Aaliyan certainly learn from each others’ differences!
In conclusion, When Silver Met Gold is a lovely romance mingled with messages of self-discovery. I really loved reading this book!
