Have you ever read a book that was suggested by another blogger? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

Of course! I began book blogging regularly two years ago. I immediately saw firsthand the hospitality of the community! For instance, bloggers are there with helpful suggestions on expanding your TBR. They’re also great in exposing me to new and exciting titles!

Stacked shelves are a sign of happy bookish surroundings! We’ve all seen bookish content creators with their shelves filled with stories a mile high. Being an avid reader, I’m a little envious!

This Week’s Question :

Do you look at your shelves and stacks of books and wonder how you have ever read so many books? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

Hop

I feel like instead, the question is WHEN I’ll read the numerous books on my shelves! During high school, I had much better control of my reading abilities. I would read a book within days. In fact, if I enjoyed a story, I read it in one sitting. My reading life indeed thrived. How I yearn for those days again!

This Week’s Book Blogger Hop Question Is:

How often do you visit your local library? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

Well, before the pandemic changed everything, I visited my library about once a week. My library is always my go-to place for curriculum materials. I can’t wait for everything to be safe enough so I could visit frequently once again!

What book/books got a lot of hype but were a disappointment for you? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

I was very excited to read about a strong woman at a magical library, but it wasn’t what I expected! I felt that Elisabeth’s character needed more development.

I really, really wanted to love this book! The Scooby Gang grown up and solving a mystery from 20 decades prior…but I couldn’t get myself to enjoy it.

Liane Moriarty, 'Nine Perfect Strangers'

Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty

I was looking forward to reading Moriarty’s work, but this book was missing something. I began to pick up interest at the middle of the story, but it still wasn’t enough!

This Week’s Question

When you run out of bookshelf space, what do you do? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

A man dances aroundseveral book stacks.

No more space for books? Boxes to the rescue! I use several to create stacks until I figure out organization. I also put them in the guest room. I find ways to work it out!
