The Dutch House by Ann Patchett

I really enjoyed reading this historical fiction novel. I especially liked that there was a main character handling Type 1 Diabetes, like me!

The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon

I’m about a third of the way in, and so far I’m loving it! Both main characters (Samiah and Daniel) have a reason why they shouldn’t fall for one another, but of course, things happen!

We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal

I’m halfway through re-reading this story for the WHTF readalong. It’s so exciting reliving the scenes in this powerful book!

Heir of Ashes (Roxanne Fosch Files #1) by Jina S. Bazzar

This was an exciting story with vampires, werewolves, and a supernatural fighter out to battle the society that abused her for years.

I just began reading the first couple chapters of Heir of Ashes. So far I’m really liking this supernatural story!

I had some mixed feelings about this story! While I loved the New York City element about this tale, I felt a disconnect. I will share more about this book in my review!
