Christmas Eve usually brings a flurry of activity! Many families do preparations for their evening meals, while others frantically complete last-minute shopping for loved ones.
Andy’s family takes part in celebrating a traditional meal that occurs every Christmas Eve. It’s wonderful to participate in the meal, and also have a nice visit from my sister-in-law’s cat Bebe! Here she is with Andy!
What traditions do you take part in during Christmas Eve, if any? Let me know in the comments!
For many of us, Christmas Eve is a time for families to gather and share their blessings with one another. My fiance Andy has a tradition that entails a special dinner on Christmas Eve. His immediate family gathers to share a meal, exchange one gift with family members, and give thanks for another special holiday together.
Andy’s brother and sister-in-law arrived in the late afternoon, and we shared the special meal together. It’s so heartwarming to see how much his niece and nephew have grown!
Christmas Eve can be a very hectic time, with last minute gift shopping and ensuring that all family members receive the proper recognition during the joyous season. Through all the hectic moments, it is very important for us to be thankful for one another’s company. These type of occasions only come around once a year!

I even have some time to read my book today. I’m about 71% through with Nine Perfect Strangers. I’m going to give my review of the story this week.
Yesterday my friend from Puerto Rico called and mentioned that she received her save the date card for the wedding! I’m so relieved that I still had the right address for her. It’s going to be a wonderful event if she does indeed make it. It’s been 13 years since we’ve last seen each other.
