Halloween Plans/Blogtober Day 29

I’m taking part in The Library Looter & Anniek’s Library Blogtober challenge!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I try to take part in doing a spooky activity every year.

Andy and I love travelling to the pumpkin patch and find some to decorate, and we did just that over the weekend! We found three adorable pumpkins that we’ll certainly decorate before Thursday.

Our adorable pumpkins with our adorable Halloween Peanuts Gang figures!

We also enjoy checking out a show during Halloween weekend, but unfortunately that didn’t pan out for us this year. Next Halloween will definitely be one to check out a show!

Of course, ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ will definitely be watched!

I hope everyone has spooky plans for Halloween!

Spooky Middle Grade books/Blogtober Day 6

When it comes to reading Spooky Middle Grade stories, Victoria Schwab’s Cassidy Blake series fit the bill. Cassidy is twelve years old who nearly drowned, but is saved by Jacob, who is a ghost. Since that moment, Cassidy has the ability to see spirits, crossing into the Veil (the world of spirits) in order to guide them.

There are two books in the Cassidy Blake series: ‘City of Ghosts’ and ‘Tunnel of Bones’, following Cassidy and her celebrity parents as they tour europe to film a paranormal series during Cassidy’s summer vacation. I’ve read both books, and quite enjoyed them!

What are your favorite Spooky Middle Grade books? Feel free to share in the comments!

Note: I’m participating in The Library Looter and Anniek’s Blogtober challenge.
