October 16, 2018: Snoopy in the Halloween Spirit

I enjoy taking photos of my Itty Bitty Peanuts collection. They hold a special place in my heart. Ever since I was a little girl I enjoyed everything about Peanuts. I owned many books on the series, and watched every show about the Peanuts characters whenever they came on television.

When Hallmark came out with their Itty Bitty Snoopy collection three years ago, I purchased one right away. Having a little Snoopy with me wherever I went was exciting. I began carrying little Snoopy everywhere, taking pictures of his adventures.

Over time other mini Snoopys came out in Hallmark, and I added to my collection. Now, every season has a Snoopy for me to bring out, along with the original Snoopy I brought home with me 3 years ago.

The picture shown is Snoopy in different Halloween forms, along with the other characters dressed in Halloween costumes. It’s a great shot of the Halloween Peanuts characters, as it shows the spirit of Autumn.

October 13, 2018: Saturday in Piscataway

It’s been a busy Saturday. This morning Andy and I attended the second half of our Pre-Cana requirement. It was extremely early to be awake, and on a Saturday, but it covered topics that centered around growing the fruits of a happy marriage. I’m very happy that we attended.

We then went to Hallmark, to check if there were any Halloween mystery bag Peanuts characters available, but they were sold out. I’m hoping that they’re around at other Hallmark locations near me, since I only need one more character to complete my collection. It’s not even guarenteed that I would get the one character I need, since you don’t know until you open the bag. It doesn’t hurt to keep looking!

March 18, 2018: Weekend Accomplishments

Things that I’ve accomplished today:

  • I began reading my Book of the Month. My selection is ‘Not that I Could Tell’ by Jessica Strawser. So far it’s an interesting read, a Mystery novel cenrered around a group of women in a small Ohio town. Not my usual genre focus, but I’m interested in seeing where the story goes.
  • Me and my fiance took a walk aound our neighborhood. It was such a nice day, and we got to see some robins, a cardinal and a couple of friendly neighborhood dogs running up to greet us. Spring is surely on its way.
  • I updated my glucose reading log book. I tend to neglect in recording my numbers for a few days, and rely on checking my meter to record the week’s readings once a week.
  • I have a new Snoopy in the Itty Bitty family! It was part of the Easter pack selections. I can’t wait to have the rest of the Snoopy figures with me!
