The Other People by C.J. Tudor
I’m about 70% through The Other People. It’s quite an interesting story, since I love the sudden twist the tale took!

The Women of Brewster Place by Gloria Naylor
I read this story through Audible one evening, when I came home from work. I was so drawn in with this community of powerful women, each carrying their own traumas and strengths!

We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry
I received this story as an ARC from Pantheon Books! We Ride Upon Sticks comes out on March 3rd.

I’m only a chapters in, and I’m already hooked! This non-fiction tale involving the demise of a wealthy Native American tribe is the January pick for my local library’s book club.

Don’t Read the Comments by Eric Smith
NetGalley provided me a complimentary digital copy of this book, coming out on January 28. I enjoyed this contemporary story about the online gaming world!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has been having a great start to your year!

I recently returned from a fun New Years Eve gathering in Central Pennsylvania. It was so enjoyable to watch funny videos and seeing the ball drop in Times Square!

Today I’ve been going through my Goodreads, choosing my TBR (To-Be-Read) list for this month. I have a mix of old and new stories, and I can’t wait to get started!

Native Americans are such a strong, resilient population. Tommy Orange writes about a group of Native Americans traveling to a major powwow in Oakland, each with their own agenda. I can’t put this book down!

Christmas by Accident by Camron Wright
I loved reading this heartwarming Christmas story! The main characters were so different from each other, it made things interesting!

Rewritten by Tara Gilboy
This was quite an endearing story of traveling within stories! It reminded me of my imagination tales during my grade school years. Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy!

Lobizona by Romina Garber
I also received Lobizona from NetGalley. From what I gather, it involves the present day issues like immigration and social justice, with a fantasy element of werewolves. It should be an exciting read!
