November 7, 2018: Elections & NaNoWriMo progress

Election Day 2018 is over. So emotional in many ways. I hope Beto O’ Rourke runs again for Texas in 2020. Many people are starting to pick up the chants ‘Beto for President’! We all know that the ball is in his court.

My NaNoWriMo progress is coming along. I’m still unsure which direction my story is taking, but I love bringing my characters to life. Giving them a voice really keeps the story moving.

February 7, 2018: Looking Back

I’m feeling more rejuvenated this morning. Usually it’s the opposite, and I wake up feeling like I didn’t get to sleep at all, but thankfully I don’t feel that way today. So far lol!

I finally looked through my birthday photos last night. I’m really happy with how they came out! My only regret is that I didn’t take enough pics of everyone who attended. It’s great to look back on events, while also seeing photos of our past selves (since we did attend college together years back).

January 3, 2018: Slow and Steady

I really do take a long time getting things done. As I work in my room, finishing up art projects and planning more, along with making the classroom ‘theme-ready’, I realized that I take very long to get tasks done. I do run a class alone, so watching toddlers while getting a room ready is quite eventful! I am glad with what I’ve accomplished these past 3 days, so that’s a positive direction. Working slowly also means that I catch meaningful details. I can only hope that it will work out well in the end.
